RESEARCH AND EDUCATION CENTER ‘’AEROSPACEINSTRUMENT ENGINEERING’’
Established in 2005 as a collaboration project between Penza State University and the Research Institute of Physical Measurements (NIIFI), the centre is aimed at training engineering scientists in cutting-edge methods of aerospace instrument engineering.

Center’s main fields of research:

  • multifunctional microprocessor secondary transducers with enhanced metrological parameters for new generation sensors;
  • virtual measuring devices and complexes for parameters measuring parameters and analyzing electrical signals;
  • methods, techniques, equipment, and software support for: 
    • precision spectral and regression signal analysis;
    • compression-restoration of measuring signals in distributed systems of control and monitoring of complex technical objects;
    • measuring  complex signals in conditions of noise and interference.
