ANTHROPOLOGICAL LABORATORY

The laboratory is founded to organize the research activity of students, post-graduate students, teachers and university staff working in the following spheres: medical anthropology, ethnical anthropology, paleopathology, waxed reconstruction based on the skull. The laboratory actively works on creating database of anthropological material and developing new devices for anthropometry.

STUDENTS’ RESEARCH CENTRE

The centre is founded to train highly skilled specialists who are good at new scientific and technical achievements in the spheres of human anatomy and who have skills in carrying out complex research. The main research themes of the students’ research centre are:
• Medical anthropology
• Historical anthropology
• Paleopathology
• Macro- and mictromorphology of the thyroid
• Morphology and application of xenon materials
Members of the centre have meetings regularly where they make reports on the results of their academic and research activity.
