Summer Holidays in Germany

Anastasia Zhaldybina, a PSU student of German department, won DAAD scholarship and in August 2013 studied a language course «Internationaler Hochschulsommerkurs für Sprache und Kultur» in Münster (Germany). The course included an in-depth language course, where students from more than 40 countries of the world – Spain, Poland, Greece, Brazil, Italy, Australia, etc. – studied for a certificate of language proficiency, afternoon extra-courses – German films, photography, music, literature, and cultural tours. The students went cycling, walked the streets of Münster, visited local pubs and went to visit other German cities – Cologne, Bremen, Detmold.

Visiting Germany is becoming a tradition for students of German language at PSU. Each year applications are received for DAAD programmes. Grants and scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis, usually one student from PSU receives a scholarship.
