International conference on foreign languages

11th October, 2013. International science conference ‘Foreign Languages in the 21st century: current issues in linguistics, theory and methods of teaching languages’ was held at the university. Scholars from Germany, the USA and Russia, as well as school teachers and students took part in the conference. All the reports were delivered in English and German languages. Topics discussed included

The conference was organized by the Foreign Languages Branch of the Faculty of History, Languages and Literature.

It was noted by Prof.Dr.Julia Ricart Brede and Prof.Dr.GünterHelmes that the conference was organized at a very high level, especially technically.

The new form of conducting conferences with working languages other than Russian is promised to be more popular at the university in the future.
