4th of November is the observance of Unity Day in Russia, a national holiday that was reintroduced in Russia several years ago. A special celebration involving multi-cultural concerts and exhibitions was held in Penza Lermontov Library. Azerbajan student team represented Penza State University and was supported by the Director of the Institute of International Communication, Olga Meshcheryakova. Other groups that made the concert truly multi-national and enjoyable were: Kazakh, Uzbek, Armenian and Jewish teams.
