A TRAINING ADAPTATION PROGRAM FOR INDIAN STUDENTS HAS BEEN IMPLEMENTED

On December 9, 2014 there was the final lesson within the framework of the adaptation program for Indian students studying in Penza State University. This program was developed at the Department of "General Psychology", Faculty of Pedagogy, Psychology and Social Sciences, by V.V. Konstantinov and A.I. Kosenok on request of the Department of Student Affairs of the Institute of International Cooperation (Head of the Department S.A. Ivanchin).

Within the framework of the training program implementation art synthesis therapy was used, the focus of the work being placed on the non-verbal means of communication.

First-year and third-year students A. Logunova, A. Grishina, L. Moiseeva, T. Matsupko (training course 030300.62 “Psychology”) took part in implementing the training psychological program together with the Indian students.

 

Sandjoy was the most active student in the training work. In his opinion "close cooperation with Russian students helps to learn the Russian language and to adapt to life in Russia more quickly. I am thankful to the organizers of the training! "

Head of the "General Psychology" Department Vsevolod Konstantinov said: "This training program is the first experience of prolonged training work with foreign students. The program has been seriously tested. This is a good experience of the cross-cultural dialogue for Russian students who took part in its implementation”.
