Chinese Scholar Awarded with Honorary Professor of PSU Title

On May 29th well-known Chinese scholar, Professor Liu Xiangwen, was awarded with the title ‘Honorary Professor of Penza State University’. Professor Liu Xiangwen works at Zhengzhou University and heads the Centre of Russian Law of the Law Institute.

Professor Liu Xiangwen graduated from Leningrad State University, Faculty of Law and finished his post-graduate course in legal studies there. He is fluent in Russian and his research works are dedicated to Russian Law. His research group is working on the application of Russian legal experience to the improvement of Chinese legal system.
Zhengzhou University and Penza State University have close partnership links, especially in the sphere of legal studies. Penza researchers visited Zhengzhou University and there are plans of ongoing development of cooperation in many spheres.

The Faculty of Law of Zhengzhou University and the Faculty of Law of Penza State University will sign the cooperation agreement, which will contribute to further development of friendly relationships and joint research between the scholars of two countries. Signing of the agreement is scheduled for May 30th.

It is hoped that the agreement of cooperation between the universities of Zhengzhou and Penza will follow.
