The student of the faculty of history, languages and literature in the summer school in Germany (DAAD programme)22.09.2014 16:29
From the 28th of July till the 22nd of August, 2014, Andrey Glazkov, a fourth-year student of the Faculty of History, Languages and Literature took part in an international course in German at the University of Bremen (Germany) as he won a scholarship of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The course was held under the motto “Language – Science – International Education”. The programme included 25 hours of active language practice a week, excursions around the cities of Bremen, Lunenburg, Berlin, Amsterdam, an excursion to the North Sea, different workshops, themed nights, etc. The University has many facilities (a library, a centre for individual study, a swimming pool, sports grounds and gyms), so the students spent their free time productively. Living in a family gave an opportunity to learn the daily life in Germany. At the end of the course the students prepared projects “We are different, but we are in Bremen!” which were presented on the last night and which were followed by handing in the certificates. It’s necessary to note that the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) has started its call for applications for 2015-16. Students of all the faculties can participate in the DAAD programmes (good knowledge of German is required). |
