Teachers of the Department “Foreign languages and methods of teaching foreign languages” at the II Forum of Russian school and university teachers of the German language (Moscow)27.11.2014 23:02
22-23 November 2014. the business-centre at Radisson Slavyanskaya Hotel (Moscow) hosted II Forum of Russian school and university teachers of the German language, which was attended by associate professors of the Department “Foreign languages and methods of teaching foreign languages” I.Voevodina, O. Martynova, T. Piterskova. The Forum was opened with a podium interactive discussion on "The future of education in a global world”, which was visited by reputable guests R. Bolts (Director of the Goethe-Institute in Moscow, Head of the region of Eastern Europe and Central Asia), M. Shvydkoi (Special Representative of the President of Russia for international cultural cooperation), Riudiger fon Frich (ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic Of Germany in the Russian Federation). During the Forum, participants were provided with reports on topical issues in teaching German as a foreign language such as “Emotions, movement and learning on a foreign language lesson: how to use neurolinguistics achievements in teaching foreign language”, “Gamification on the foreign language lessons with multimedia“, “Business German: collaboration between schools and firms”, etc. In addition, the teachers of our university participated in the didactic workshops "German for business", "WEB 2.0. Services on German lessons", "Illustrativeness on German language lessons for preparation to the C part of the Unified State Exam (the verbal part) in German language". It afforded an opportunity to test new shapes and techniques in teaching and learning German language, that could be used by our teachers and students too, and help them more effectively manage this process. The two-day forum of productive dialogue and constructive debates has become not only a good professional training course, but also allowed to chart future work of the Department “Foreign languages and methods of teaching foreign languages”. |
