Delegation from China will study Russian at PSU15.09.2015 07:41
On 27 August, 2015, an official delegation from the Gansu Province (China) arrived in Penza. The aim of their visit is to take a short-term training course in “Russian for municipal employees”. On the first day of the visit the Chinese guests had a meeting with Aleksandr Gulyakov, Rector of Penza State University. A. Gulyakov welcomed the guests and said that there are 50 students from China out of 1,500 international students at PSU. He emphasized special commitment and conscientiousness of the Chinese students in getting education. “Penza State University has a close cooperation with People’s Republic of China. We maintain relationships with more than ten educational institutions of China. We cooperate in the issues of academic mobility and research”, the Rector added. Some of the delegation representatives already know Russian, some of them are about to begin their active studies. “We will try to organize the training at a high teaching level. Our teachers will do their best to enrich your knowledge of the Russian language”, stated A.Gulyakov. In their turn the university guests thanked PSU representatives and personally A.Gulyakov for the warm welcoming and for the training classes. |
