Ceremonial closing of the Chinese delegation visit took place at PSU

 On September, 4, 2015 in Building 11, PSU, the ceremony closing the visit of Gansu Province government delegation (People’s Republic of China) to Penza State University took place.

A short-term course of “The Russian language for municipal officers” was organized for the Chinese delegation participants. The programme of the course was developed by the department of “Russian as a foreign language”. It took place at our university from 27 August  till 4 September, 2015.

Their visit included not only classes but also a huge excursion and cultural programme. The delegation visited the tech part “Yablochkov” where they saw the presentation about the Penza Region, State Lermontov Museum “Tarchany”, they went on a tour of our city and University, and also travelled to the recreational centre “Chistiye Prudy”.

In his speech Sergei Vasin, Vice-Rector for international affairs, congratulated all the participants on successful completion of the course and expressed confidence in further development of relationships between Penza State University and universities of Gansu Province in education and research.

Olga Meshcheryakova, Head of International Cooperation Office, also congratulated the participants and wished them to go on studying and improving their Russian.

On the result of the course the delegation members were awarded certificates of the programme “The Russian language for municipal officers”.
