PSU international students hold Lessons of Friendship for schoolchildren
On November, 27, 2015, PSU international students visited Provincial Lyceum for intellectually gifted children. They organized Lessons of Friendship there.
This project is one of the winners of the contest “Rector grants”.
“The idea of the project is to organize and to hold international interactive meetings of PSU foreign students with the Penza Region schoolchildren. During the meeting the international students tell the pupils about the culture and traditions, national and state symbols, nature and sights, cuisine and recipes, literature and outstanding people of their countries”, said Sergei Ivanchin, Head of the Department of Student Affairs, International Education Office, PSU.
The schoolchildren of the lyceum met representatives of Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Moldova, China, Iraq, and Kirgizstan. Pupils of the 7th-10th grades happily met the foreigners, listened attentively to their stories about different countries, and asked a lot of questions to each representative.
