Vice-Rector for International Affairs S.M. Vasin on a Visit to Lebanon

Vice-rector of Penza State University (Sergey Vasin) and Deputy Vice-Rector of Moscow State University (Yuri Mazei) visited the Arts, Sciences & Technology University in Lebanon (AUL).

This trip to Beirut is a return visit, the representatives of AUL paid a visit to Penza in May this year.

The Russian guests received a warm welcome and met with Adnan Hamza, the President of the university, Ali Hamiye, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technologies, Bashir Samaha, advisor in cultural exchange, and the managing staff of institutes and faculties.

The main questions under discussion were the organization of Russia-Lebanon centre for studies of the Russian Language in Lebanon university, development of academic exchange programmes and double-degree programmes, university cooperation in consortia and participation in Erasmus+ projects, enrollment of international students from Lebanon to study in Moscow State University and Penza State University.

Both Yury Mazei and Sergei Vasin also took part in the ceremony of awarding AUL graduation certificates for 2016.
