PSU representatives participate in the meeting on the development of internationalisation in higher education

On October 24th – 29th, 2016 Olga Meshcheryakova, Head of the International Projects Department, and Ekaterina Aleshina, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages and Methods of Teaching Foreign Languages, Belinsky Institute of Teacher Education, took part in a series of meetings held in Alexander Technological Institute of Thessaloniki, Greece. The meetings focused on the development of internationalisation strategies in higher education.

The events were organised within the international project HARMONY ERASMUS+ aimed at the development of approaches to harmonisation of comprehensive internationalisation strategies in higher education, research and innovation. The three-year project brought together the leading European and Russian universities. They are Kassel University (Germany), Aston University (United Kingdom), Sapienza University of Rome (Italy), Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University (Armenia), Eurasia International University (Armenia), Belarusian State University (Belarus), Voronezh State University (Russia), Southern Federal University (Russia), etc. The University of Seville (Spain) is the Project leader.

The working meeting considered the best practices of adopting internationalisation strategies, discussed the results of monitoring HEIs international activity and indicated areas for follow-up work.
