Professors Dmitry Iv. Nefediev and Nikholay K. Yurkov from Penza State University provided a short-term training for 1st-year masters in “Electronics in Microelectromechanical Systems” at the Department of Space Engineering and Technology in L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (ENU).

Professor Vladimir Ja. Goryachev  from PSU and Professor Mikhail Yu. Mikheev from PenzStu also began training of masters in “Electronics in robotics”.

On December 1st, 2016 ENU held the Youth Forum devoted to the President Day. Elmira Am. Sukhanberdieva, Kazakhstani Vice-Minister of Education and Science, who came to the opening ceremony, attended lessons of our professors shortly before the Forum.

Great attention in Kazakhstan is given to the training of highly qualified personnel. The laboratory facility at the new department of Space Engineering and Technology is truly impressive. Our HEI has stated its commitment to support training of national highly qualified personnel.

“It is also our Kazakhstani colleagues who have to face numerous problems in higher education. A significant outcome of our cooperation is an agreement to exchange bachelors and masters in the sphere of educational and work experience internship. There are many young people at the department in ENU, but not all of them have an academic degree or rank as the establishment of postgraduate courses (doctoral programme РhD) requires longstanding engagement. Therefore they are largely counting on our assistance”, stated Nikholay K. Yurkov, Head of the Department of Radio Equipment Engineering and Production, Faculty of Instrument Engineering, Information Technologies and Electronics, Polytechnic Institute, PSU.
