4 students of PSU Medical Institute to undertake internship in German clinics DIAKO

Due to long preparatory work resulted in the signing of cooperation agreement between Penza State University and the Association of Medical Clinics in Flensburg (Germany) in September 2016 the internship in German clinics DIAKO became possible. Under the agreement students of PSU Medical Institute will be able to pursue internship for 1-3 months at the premises of clinics in DIAKO Medical Centre and St. Francis Hospital for free. The essential requirement for interns consists in German skills to the levels B1-B2, as well as in positive recommendations of Medical Institute directorate.

Ilya Levashov, Aleksey Moshensky, Valentina Podoynitsyna, Petr Grechishkin have successfully completed intensive German courses, passed intermediate and final testing in German and checking of the portfolios by the German party and got the opportunity to pursue internship in DIAKO clinics from July 17, 2017 to August 18, 2017.

The internship will be conducted under the supervision of German specialists. As a part of practice it is planned to immerse in the activity of doctors in a German clinic, including patient work-up, participating in briefings, discussing treatment plans, executing medical procedures under the guidance of mentor-doctors, and conducting research.
