Professor Rodionov participated in International Conference in New York

In October, 2017 Mikhail Al. Rodionov, Head of the Department of Computer Science and Methods of Teaching Computer Science and Mathematics, participated in the International Conference on Computer Supported Education and Information Technology (ICCSEIT-2017) held in New York (the United States).

The conference was attended by approximately 100 scientists and academics from the UK, the US, Ireland, Italy, India, Germany, Canada, Singapore, Brazil, Australia, Finland and some other states. The participants came from different cultures and had various traditions and religions.

The formats of the conference was numerous, they included presentations, oral reports, master classes, and webinars. Professor Mikhail Al. Rodionov delivered a report on Practical Problems as Tools for the Development of Secondary School Students’ Motivation to Learn Mathematics that was accompanied by detailed presentation.

Moreover, Professor Mikhail Al. Rodionov took part in the Programming Committee and the Editorial Board “Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology”, during which the potential prospects for implementing collaborative research projects were discussed.

The materials presented at the conference are intended to be used in the course of teaching and methodological disciplines within training future teachers of Computer Science and Mathematics. In addition, such materials can be useful in developing special teaching and learning packages for Master’s degree programmes.
