In late May, Andrey Kuzmin, postdoctoral student and Associate Professor at the department of Information and Computation Systems (Faculty of Computer Engineering, Penza State University), participated in the international conference, which was held at the University of Jyväskylä (Jyväskylä, Finland). The event was organised by the Finnish-Russian University Council for Telecommunications. It was convened under the auspices of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). The focus areas of the conference included telecommunication technologies, information technologies, Internet of things (IoT), as well as electronic medicine (eHealth). Among the participants were the representatives of Finland, Russia, Italy, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Sweden, etc. In addition to the traditional plenary and subpanel sessions, the conference presupposed a special session for displaying relevant R&D products developed by the participants in the mode of short presentations and a competitive demonstration of working prototypes that culminated in identifying and rewarding the best one. Time for informal communication and networking between participants and organisers was also provided. Andrey Kuzmin’s report dedicated to algorithms for processing electrocardiographic signals was commended and recommended by the conference organising committee to publication in the form of an article in a foreign specialised journal. The research presented at the conference is conducted with the support of the Russian Science Foundation (project No. 17-71-20029). Фотографии (3)
