Tatiana V. Dubrovskaya, Head of the English Language Department, participates in Erasmus+ programme in Romania

From 6th to 11th May, 2019 T.V. Dubrovskaya, Head of the English Language Department, took part in the Erasmus+ programme (mobility for teaching) at Transilvania University of Brasov (Brasov, Romania).

T.V. Dubrovskaya delivered lectures and practical classes on discourse analysis of international relations for master degree students enrolled in the program "Cross-cultural Communication".

T.V. Dubrovskaya learned about the structure of the faculty, the work of the university library, the faculty members, and visited the Erasmus office. She also made a presentation on the discourse analysis of the British media at the traditional conference on British and American studies, which is organized by the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics, Transilvania University of Brasov.

The cooperation between the English Language Department, PSU, and the Faculty of Letters, Transilvania University of Brasov, is developing successfully. Within the framework of the Erasmus + programme, several reciprocal visits have already taken place. In particular, last year the English Language Department received a visit from Raluka Sinu, a teacher of the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics.

In 2019, Transilvania University of Brasov became a co-organizer of the III International Research Conference "Modern Trends in Linguistics and Language Teaching: The Problem of Method", held by the English Language Department at PSU.
