On 28th February, the delegation from Hadhramout University (Yemen) visited Penza State University. The delegation contained: Ali Mohammed Batarfi, Dean of the Medical College of the University; Salem Rubaya Bazar, Dean of the Faculty of Ecology and Marine Biology; Samaha Bashir, Chairman of the National Arab-Russian Association.

Under the visit, they had a meeting with Penza State University representatives: Gleb Sintsov, Vice-Rector for International Affairs, Sergei Ivanchin, Head of the International Education Office, Aleksandr Mitroshin, Director of the Medical Institute, Olga Surina, Director of the Institute of Teacher Education, Sergei Titov, Dean of the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Yuri Zheleznyak, Vice-Rector’s assistant.

They discussed issues on teachers’ and students’ exchange between Hadhramout University and Penza State University in the fields of ecology and medicine. Besides, the guests were interested in the possibility for their students of taking a post-graduate course in Ecology.

After the meeting, the representatives from Yemen had an excursion around the university: they were demonstrated the equipment and facilities of the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Natural Sciences, the Medical Institute and Centre for Simulation Training.
