The Day of Knowledge for first-year students of English-language training programmes was held at PSU

On November 2, Penza State University held the Day of Knowledge for international students who are enrolled to English-language programmes. The event was broadcast live on the YouTube channel.

The Day of Knowledge was attended by guests of honor: Gleb Sintsov, Vice-Rector for International Affairs, Aleksandr Mitroshin, Director of the Medical Institute, Inessa Moiseeva, Dean of the Faculty of General Medicine, Larisa Zyulkina, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Sergey Ivanchin, Head of the International Education Office, Adel Maqbol, Chairman of the International Students Association of Penza, Bashir Samakha, General Director of the National Arab-Russian Association. Yuvraj Solanki, Director of RusEdu Corporation, also greeted the first-year students via Zoom platform.

Gleb Sintsov, Vice-Rector for International Affairs, wished the first-year students good luck on this interesting path to higher education: "The Day of Knowledge is inextricably linked with new beginnings and opportunities, bold experiments, joyful discoveries, constant search. From the bottom of my heart, I wish the young generation deep knowledge and bright achievements, the teachers - optimism and health, and the parents - wisdom and patience. Let this academic year be the starting point for all of you to conquer new heights!"

Traditionally, the first-year students were given a symbolic student card. The ceremonial event was followed by meetings with curators.
