On Saturday, February 3, the Institute of International Cooperation hosted the FIFA eSports tournament among international students, in which representatives of seven countries of the world took part: Tajikistan, Egypt, Lebanon, Morocco, Algeria, India and Tunisia. The football tournament was held with the aim of adapting and socializing international students and strengthening friendly bonds between students from different countries studying at the university. “Due to the epidemiological situation in Penza, it was decided to replace the traditional Winter Mini-Football Tournament among international students with a new format - eSports. We hope that holding such competitions will become a tradition, and there will be more and more participants every year,” emphasized Ekaterina Syagaylo, Head of the Department of Student Affairs. According to the results of the tournament, the representative of Tajikistan Zikrov Aliazgar took the 3rd place, Elaama Ahmed Ehab Mostafa from Egypt became the second, and Ben Khalif Aimen (Tunisia) became the winner of the tournament.
