The Volga region educational camp for international students POLIS completed its work in Penza

From 23 to 26 April, the V Volga region educational camp for international students  was organized at the Chistye Prudy Recreation Complex, in which international students from 14 countries of the world took part. This year, the geography of regional universities has also expanded - representatives of Penza State Technological University and Penza State Agrarian University took part in the camp session. POLIS was organized by the Department of Student Affairs of International Education Office and the Association of International Students of the Penza region.

For three days, the students had trainings and workshops: team building and the development of communication skills from Aleksandra Zyuzina and Kristina Vorobyeva, time management from Andrei Tishkin, "The Man Who Lives in a Shell" from Ekaterina Syagaylo, oratory from Maria Melnikova and acting skills from Vladislav Svyatov. The students presented their teams, took part in a quest from PSU Student Council. The work of the camp resulted in developing and defending  projects in front of the expert committee which included Gleb Sintsov, Vice-Rector for International Affairs, Sergey Ivanchin, Head of the International Education Office, and Adel Maqbol, Chairman of the Association of International Students of the Penza Region.

According to the results of the session, Zikrov Aliazgar (Tajikistan) became the best curator, and Valid Khaled Suleiman Alshraedeh (Jordan) became the most active participant. All participants emphasized that POLIS had given them the opportunity to reveal their potential, overcome fears and acquire new knowledge that will be useful in the future.
