Development of Russian-Chinese cooperation discussed at PSU at the international level

On May 28, Penza State University hosted the International Online Conference "Specific Issues of Logistics in the Aspect of  Developing Russian-Chinese Cooperation between Penza Region and Shanxi Province".

It was organized by Xi'an International University of China, International Relations Office (Penza State University) and Department of Marketing, Commerce and Service (Institute of Economics and Administration, Penza State University).

The conference was attended by Sergey Matyukin, head of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of Penza Region, Olga Meshcheryakova, head of the International Relations Office, Lyubov Semekova, head of the Department of Marketing, Commerce and Service, students in the study field "Trade: Commerce", teachers of the Department of Marketing, Commerce and Service and Department of Economic Theory and International Relations (Institute of Economics and Administration).

Zhang Huiwen, Dean of the Faculty of International Trade of Xi'an International University of China, gave a speech. He highlighted the role of the Chinese-European express in promoting the development of Chinese-Russian trade. Jia Golin, Doctor of Economics, made a presentation on the impact of the Shanxi Free Trade Zone on Chinese-Russian trade. Xu Dehong, Dean of the Faculty of Logistics of Xi'an International University of China, spoke about the possibilities of joint training of Chinese-Russian staff in the field of logistics for international dry ports.

Sergey Matyukin, director of My Business Centre of Penza Region, made a presentation about the investment potential of Penza Region and opportunities for investors and partners. Lyubov Semekova, head of the Department of Marketing, Commerce and Service, spoke about the possibilities of training staff for commerce and logistics at Penza State University. Great interest was aroused by the speech of Mikhail Petrov, General Director of RusGrain Company, who told the conference participants about the ongoing Penza-Harbin Interregional Russian-Chinese logistics project. He answered the questions of the Chinese representatives about the possibilities of cooperation between Penza Region and Shanxi Province.

At the end of the conference, the parties agreed on further cooperation in the field of trade, logistics, training within their capabilities and competencies.
