A book written with the participation of Penza State University representatives was published in a foreign publishing house

The Palgrave Macmillan published a collective monograph «Media Discourse of Commemoration. The Centenary of World War One in Europe» (editors E. Le, L. Radut-Gaghi, A.M. Silletti, H. Wagner), which includes the chapters written by E. Aleshina, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages and Methods of Teaching Foreign Languages,  and T. Razuvaeva, Head of International Projects Department, Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages and Methods of Teaching Foreign Languages.

The book is the result of the LEMEL scientific consortium members’ work on a joint project devoted to studying the reflection of the discourse of the memory of the First World War in European online media. The chapters of the project participants - researchers from the University of Alberta (Canada), CY Cergy Paris University (France), Europa-Universität Flensburg (Germany), the University of Bari Aldo Moro (Italy) -  are devoted to various aspects of the discursive and social representation of the First World War in modern media.
