The best international students were awarded on the results of 2021/2022 at PSU

On Monday, May 30, a ceremony of awarding the best international students who showed themselves during the 2021/2022 academic year was held at the Institute of International Cooperation, Penza State University.

The year turned out to be very eventful - most of the events returned to the face-to-face format and international students actively showed themselves. Gleb Sintsov, Vice-Rector for International Affairs, addressed all the participants: “It is a great pleasure to see so many students who took part in absolutely diverse events - sport, creative, scientific. Today we are summing up the intermediate results – I am sure, a lot of joint and rewarding work is ahead of us!”

On the results of the academic year, the students were awarded with:

- letters of appreciation for their active assistance in organizing the Beauty Contest “Miss World. Folk Queen”;
- letters of appreciation for the invaluable contribution to strengthening relations and active cultural exchange between students based on the principles of tolerance, free will and solidarity and for the active part in organizing the Nowruz International Fest;
- personalized tickets to the official KVN league season “Sura”;
- certificates of participation in Interfaculty Talent Contest “Student Spring” of Penza State University;
- letters of appreciation for huge contribution to developing activities of public associations of international students and for participation in organizing the Volga Educational Camp for international students POLIS;
- certificates of participation in PSU Award in the category “International Student of the Year”;   
- diplomas and certificates of participants of International St. George Martial Arts Festival “For Faith and Homeland”;
- diplomas for winners and prize-holders of sports and recreational event “Goodwill games” in all kinds of sports;
- letters of appreciation for taking part in TruD test.

Also, letters of appreciation from the Vice-Rector for International Affairs of PSU for assistance in organizing and holding a sports and recreational event for international students "Goodwill Games" were awarded to Dvoryaninova Elena, Krapchina Maria, Simakov Anton and Sobolev Aleksandr, the latter was also awarded a certificate of honor for his contribution to the development of the International St. George Martial Arts Festival “For Faith and Homeland”.

Letters of appreciation are awarded annually to students who, throughout the entire academic year, not only actively participated in events, but also helped in organizing them, actively supported other students from different countries and showed themselves in various fields. According to the results of the last academic year, Alshraiedeh Waleed, Ganbaatar Murun, Zikrov Aliazghar, Mohamed Abdelrahman and Muradyan Sahakanush were awarded with letters of appreciation.
