Penza State University hosted a graduation ceremony with awarding diplomas of higher medical education to international students. On Thursday, July 7, 81 representatives of India left their Alma mater for adulthood, including 7 graduates who received diplomas with honours, and 17 graduates from Egypt, Yemen, Ghana, Nigeria and Tunisia.

The event was attended by guests of honor: Gleb Sintsov, Vice-Rector for International Affairs, Aleksandr Mitroshin, Director of the Medical Institute, Inessa Moiseeva, Dean of the Faculty of General Medicine, Sergey Ivanchin, Head of the International Education Office.

Gleb Sintsov wished the graduates success and achievement of all their goals: “Today you, yesterday's students, will receive not only one of the most important documents in your life, but also the proud title of a doctor. These six years have been filled with joy, achievements and, of course, new knowledge and experience. Let this be just the beginning of your long and successful life journey. We hope that the knowledge you have gained will help you become the next generation of great doctors and leaders.”

Yuvraajsinh Solanki, General Partner of PSU, Director of the Chevalier Group, sent a video message for the graduates: “You have come a long way, and you have new heights ahead of you! Thank you, Penza State University, for the knowledge and comprehensive development of our students. Good luck, doctors!"

For the first time since 2019, parents of graduates came to the graduation ceremony. Chief medical officer of the Rajput Himmatsing family clinic Kashinath Rajput and his wife Pramilabai Himmatsing Rajput addressed the graduates and guests of the holiday: “It is a great honor for us to be present at the fourth graduation of Indian students from Penza State University. Graduates, now doctors, I wish you all the best in your bright future! Many thanks to Dr. Yuvraajsinh Solanki for supporting our children."

Saad Abdelhakim Mohamed Fakkar, International Arbitration Advisor, journalist and poet, on behalf of the Arab students’ parents, expressed his gratitude to the university leadership and presented memorable gifts to PSU rector Aleksandr Guliakov and Director of the Medical Institute Aleskandr Mitroshin. “I am proud of our children - today my son has become a doctor, received a diploma of education. And this would not have been possible without the excellent teaching staff of Penza State University. Thank you for our children!” - said Saad Abdelhakim Mohamed Fakkar.

At the end of the ceremony, the graduates traditionally took the oath of the doctor.
