PSU representatives take part in the I International Scientific Conference "Pinsk Readings"
On September, 15, representatives of Penza State University took part in the I International Scientific Conference "Pinsk Readings" held by Polessky State University via videoconferencing. The invitation to participate in the conference was received within the framework of cooperation between Penza State University and PolesGU (Pinsk, Belarus).
Tatiana Razuvaeva, Head of International Projects Department, spoke on the history of cooperation between PSU and PolesGU.
“Contacts with Polessky State University were established as part of the development of multilateral cooperation between the Penza region and the Brest region. Within the framework of the V International Forum-Exhibition of Business Contacts "Brest-2022", held in June 2022, the first acquaintance with representatives of Polessky State University took place. As a result of the first meeting, a series of online working meetings was held, within which researchers from PSU and PolesGU exchanged scientific developments in the field of engineering, economics and sports medicine. The result of intensive negotiations was the signing of a cooperation agreement within the framework of the IV Forum of the Association of Higher Educational Institutions of Russia and Belarus, which was held in the city of Grodno from June 29 to 30”.
The conference was opened by Valery Dunai, Rector of Polessky State University. On behalf of PSU Rector, Sergey Vasin, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, addressed the conference participants with a welcoming speech, emphasizing the importance of developing partnerships between PSU and PolesGU.
At the plenary session, reports were presented on topical areas of modern science in various subject areas - bioengineering, medicine, economics, education. As part of his report “Modern socio-economic dynamics as a response to the impact of pandemic factors”, Sergey Vasin showed the prospects for the development of this topic together with researchers from PolesGU.
At the end of the first part of the conference, a project was presented to create a joint international laboratory "Technologies and Digital Economy". Within the framework of this laboratory, it is planned to jointly conduct scientific research in the field of aqua engineering - water purification, development of installations for the needs of fisheries, the use of vortex technologies, as well as the digital economy.
The conference will last for two days, the representatives of Penza State University will make presentations in the sections "Technological proposals of science to food industry enterprises", "Banking business and financial economics", "Relevant issues of biotechnology development", "Engineering". As a result, proceedings of the conference will be published.
