On Sunday, January 29, one of the institutions of the digital dental clinic network "Estedental" founded by Petr Ivanov, together with the International Students Association of the Penza Region, held a Doors Open Day for international dental students from Penza State University. The event was attended by more than 50 representatives from four countries: Egypt, Yemen, Morocco and Algeria.

“At present, we are increasingly faced with such a problem that enterprises and hospitals prefer dentists with work experience, rather than students who have advanced knowledge, but, unfortunately, do not know how to apply them in practice. Thanks to such clinics, international students have the opportunity to gain practical skills in their chosen field, which allows them to become even more sought-after specialists after graduation from the university,” emphasized Gleb Sintsov, Vice-Rector for International Affairs.

For the purpose of training and practicing manual skills, the "Estedental" clinic created a training base for practicing doctors, clinical residents, and students. Each site is equipped with a high-quality phantom, dental unit and teaching microscope.

“New knowledge, techniques and methods of work, coverage of technological innovations will suit both dental students and practicing doctors. If you are a student with huge ambitions and burning eyes, who wants to work competently and ensure the safety of health and long-lasting effects of their work for future patients, then our Estedental Study training and practice center will help you develop these skills,” said Petr Ivanov, the founder of the clinic network, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, implant surgeon.

The students were given a tour of the largest clinic in the city of Penza, during which they were shown modern dental equipment, digital protocol treatment methods using the latest digital technologies of 3D optical scanning, microsurgery and dental treatment using an operating microscope.
