From March 24 to March 25, Penza State University hosted VII International Scientific and Practical Conference "Topical Issues of Mass Consciousness Study". Sergei Vasin, PSU Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, and Zhenis Zharlygasov, Member of the Board, Vice-Rector for Research, Innovation and Digitalization of Akhmet Baitursynov Kostanay Regional University (Kazakhstan) addressed the conference participants with greetings. During the plenary session, the participants heard reports from experts in the field of mass consciousness from Moscow, Kazan, Saratov and Penza. The work of the conference was organized in a hybrid format in person and online, using the KonturTalk videoconferencing service. The conference continued its work in two sections: "Personality and group in extreme conditions of life" and "Psychological and social mechanisms for promoting worldview attitudes." The work of the sections was moderated by candidates of psychological sciences: Sergey Ivanchin, Head of the International Education Office, Institute of International Cooperation, PSU, Roman Osin, associate professor of the Department of General Psychology, and Viktor Smirnov, associate professor of the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy, Gzhel State University. On Saturday, March 25, the conference continued its work in the format of a round table "Anthropological and psychological challenges in science and society." By the start of the conference, proceedings had been published. “Our forum allowed us to initiate a very important and valuable interdisciplinary dialogue. I am sure that our common efforts will result in intensifying the process of professional development of all the conference participants,” said Professor Vsevolod Konstantinov, chairman of the conference organizing committee. |
