Another victory: international students became laureates of the Regional Festival "Student Spring"

On May 4, the main holiday of student youth creativity - the regional festival "Student Spring - 2023"- came to its end in Penza. The Institute of International Cooperation was represented by the soloist Saakanush Muradyan and the Institute of International Cooperation vocal ensemble from India (supervised by Maria Melnikova). According to the results, the ensemble of the Institute of International Cooperation became the winner in the nomination “Variety singing. Foreign song (small compositions)” and was invited to participate in the gala concert of the festival, and Sahakanush Muradyan was recognized as the best among the participants in the nomination “Pop singing. Foreign song (solo). The main achievement for the students was the recommendation to participate in the All-Russian stage of the festival "Russian Student Spring", where they will compete with the best creative youth teams from all over the country.

For the Indian students, this year's student spring is a debut. “It was scary, but interesting” said Shedge Abhiraj, one of the soloists of the ensemble. “We got to know a new place, new people, new talents. All in all, it was a pleasant but a bit scary experience. But it all started quite simply: the students and I got together and decided to sing our national song at the audition. At that time, we could not even imagine that we would not only be invited to perform for the Institute of International Cooperation, but would get 10 points and be sent to the regional stage! And even more so, we could not even dream of becoming the best in the region and being recommended for the Russian Student Spring! But dreams come true. The student spring is a very important event, because we represent not only ourselves, but also our nation! We see such performances and witness so many talents that we have never seen before. We are grateful to be part of this student spring creative family.”
