75 young people from India are graduating from Penza State University this year. The parents of some graduates came to Penza to participate in the graduation ceremony. Rector Aleskandr Guliakov talked to them at the round table. The meeting took place on Thursday, July 13.

“Six years of studying and practicing are left behind. The best associate professors and professors worked with your children, the best doctors of medical institutions in the city of Penza shared their experience with them. And now we are graduating qualified specialists,” Aleksandr Guliakov addressed the audience.

The Rector added that the graduates achieved good results in their studies, which is confirmed by the results of the mandatory test, held in India for those who have received higher education certificates. “63% of graduates successfully confirmed their knowledge in the internal test exam. While the figure for other universities in Russia is 20%, our graduates from India are among the best in terms of the quality of knowledge in our country,” Professor Guliakov cited the figures.

Aleksandr Guliakov expressed his gratitude to parents for supporting their children's desire to become doctors, and praised the students themselves for their responsible attitude to learning and achieving high results on the way to their future profession.

Penza State University has been working in partnership with the Indian company Chevalier Group for 11 years. The founder of the company, Yuvraaj Solanki, welcomed the participants of the meeting online. Dr. Solanki thanked Rector Aleksandr Guliakov for fruitful cooperation in training specialists for the Indian medical industry.

Pradipkumara Pratapsinh Solanki, Chairman of the Association of Parents of Indian Medical Students of Russia, who also participated in the online event, congratulated the graduates on their successful graduation from the university and wished them success in their profession, emphasizing that the education received at the Medical Institute of Penza State University is a guarantee of the quality of knowledge.

Bhatt Manisha Himanshu, mother of graduate Bhatt Utkarsh Himanshubhai, who graduated with honors, shared her opinion that Penza State University provides an excellent education.
Rector Aleksandr Guliakov asked the participants of the round table about their impressions of Penza and the university. “Penza State University made a very good impression on us, as well as Penza itself. We looked at some very nice objects on the university campus,” Bhatt Manisha Himanshu supported the dialogue.

The Rector awarded the parents of the graduates with appreciation letters.

It should be noted that this year Penza State University graduates medical students from India for the fifth time.
