Penza State University is expanding the range of partner-universities from friendly countries. A priority area for promoting international cooperation of PSU is establishing partnerships in the area of education and science with academic institutions and organisations in the Republic of India. On 30 June 2023, the first online meeting was arranged with the representatives of Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur. The International Relation Cell of CSJM University and the International Projects Department of PSU were the initiators of the meeting. Penza State University was represented by Vice-Rector for International Affairs Gleb Sintsov, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation Sergei Vasin, Head of the International Projects Department Tatiana Razuvaeva and Translator of the International Projects Department Mariia Pchelintseva. The Indian university was represented by Dean for Research Dr. Anuradha Kalani, Director of CSJM Innovation Foundation Dr. Shilpa Kayastha, Head of the International Relation Cell Dr. Prabhat Dwivedi and Associate Head of the International Relation Cell Dr. Rajeev Mishra. During the meeting, the participants gave the overviews of their higher education institutions. Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur is a public university that offers a wide range of academic programmes. As a classical university, it includes several institutes and schools. In addition, the university actively conducts research in various areas. After presenting the higher education institutions, the participants of the meeting agreed on developing roadmap for cooperation in education and science. They also determined the coordinators of cooperation: Head of the International Projects Department Tatiana Razuvaeva will be the coordinator at PSU and Head of the International Relation Cell Dr. Prabhat Dwivedi will be the coordinator at CSJM University. The parties outlined two main areas of joint work: - In the area of education they agreed on conducting online lectures for students; - In the area of science they suggested participating in online conferences organised by universities, conducting joint research with the subsequent publication of articles, submitting applications to the Russian Science Foundation and the Department of Science and Technology of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Republic of India (DST). In the near future the universities will sign the agreement on cooperation. |
