Penza State University develops cooperation with Indian universities

On September 15, the first online meeting took place with representatives of Parul University (India) to discuss the possibility of joint cooperation in the scientific field.

The meeting was a continuation of the agreements reached during the trip of Gleb Sintsov, Vice-Rector for International Affairs, to India, organized with the support of Dr. Yuvraaj Solanki, Director of the Chevalier Group.

During the meeting, Gleb Sintsov, Vice-Rector for International Affairs,  and Sergey  Vasin,  Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation,  introduced their colleagues from India to the university, talking about the structure of the university and the main areas of scientific research.

Aleksandr Mitroshin, Director of the Medical Institute, and Inessa Moiseeva,  Dean of the Faculty of General Medicine,  discussed with their colleagues the possibilities of joint work in medical areas of training.

Elena Petrova, Head of Department of Neurology, Neurosurgery and Psychiatry, Anna Kuznetsova, Associate Professor of the Department of General and Clinical Pharmacology, Mikhail Petrov,  Associate Professor of the Department of Polyclinic Therapy and Mobilization Training in Healthcare,  presented scientific projects implemented on the basis of the departments.

Parul University was represented by the Vice President for Quality and Research, Director of the Institute of Medicine, Dr. Geetika Patel, Head of the International Office, Dr. Priiti Nair, and heads of departments of the university's Institute of Medicine. The Indian side spoke about several scientific projects, inviting PSU scientists to discuss the possibility of conducting joint research.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to organize a series of online meetings to develop and agree on specific roadmaps for the implementation of scientific projects with the aim of submitting applications for joint international competitions of the Russian Science Foundation and the Indian Science Foundation. The coordinators of the cooperation are: on the part of the PSU - Tatiana Razuvaeva, Head of the International Projects Department, on the part of Parul University - Dr. Priiti Nair, Head of the International Office.
