The 1st international online conference “Indian & Russian-Knowledge System” is being held at PSU

On September 21, the grand opening of the 1st international online conference “Indian & Russian-Knowledge System” took place, which is held on September 21-22 by Penza State University together with Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (Kanpur, India).

At the opening ceremony, PSU was represented by Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation Sergei Vasin, Acting Director of the Institute of Economics and Administration Svetlana Taktarova, Deputy Director of the Institute of Teacher Education Valentina Morozova, Deputy Director of the Institute of Teacher Education Mikhail Pyatin, Deputy Director of the Polytechnic Institute Ekaterina Pecherskaya, Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy, Psychology and Social Sciences Aleksandr Tugarov, Head of Department of Nanoelectronics and Microelectronics Igor Pronin, Head of International Projects Department of the Institute of International Cooperation Tatiana Razuvaeva, Head of the Department of Academic Affairs of the International Education Office, Institute of International Cooperation, Aleksandr Pervushkin, assistant of Vice-Rector for International Affairs Maksim Adamov, employees of the International Relations Office of the Institute of International Relations.

The delegation from Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University was headed by Vice-Chancellor Vinay Kumar Pathak. The ceremony was also attended by Dean of the Institute of Business and Management Sudhanshu Pandya, Head of the Department of International Relations Prabhat Dwivedi, Deputy Head of the Department of International Relations Rajeev Mishra, Officer of the Department of International Relations Ankit Trivedi, teachers and students of the university.

In his greeting, Vice-Chancellor Vinay Kumar Pathak noted the historical relationship between the educational systems of India and Russia and emphasized that the cooperation between Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University and Penza State University is a great example of friendship between the Indian and Russian academic communities.

Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation Sergei Vasin thanked the leadership of Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University for the initiative and work to strengthen Russian-Indian scientific collaboration.

As part of the ceremony, signed cooperation agreements between universities were exchanged.

The conference coordinators, Head of the International Projects Department of the Institute of International Cooperation, Tatiana Razuvaeva, and Head of the International Relations Department, Prabhat Dwivedi, announced the conference programme:

On September 21, Indian university scientists presented reports on topics such as Indian approaches to Vedic mathematics and astronomy, Indian philosophical approach to a happy life, Indian traditions of architecture and design, prospects for economics and management in India, principles of managing destiny from ancient Indian scriptures.

On September 22, scientists from Penza State University made presentations on current issues of responding to socio-economic changes (S.M. Vasin), on scientific and cultural aspects of nanotechnology in art (I.A. Pronin), on the results of philosophical research into Bengal Renaissance (T.G. Skorokhodova), about modern approaches to text linguistics (N.Yu. Kostina).

Both sides are planning further cooperation in educational, cultural and scientific activities.
