The most popular fields of study, according to Gleb Sintsov, are “Linguistics”, “Pedagogical Education (English)”, “Psychology”, “General Medicine” and “Dentistry”.

Guych Garayev thanked Rector Aleksandr Guliakov for the attention paid to students. An agreement was reached to increase the number of Turkmen students at PSU. The Consul General reminded that since 2023, the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan has again included Penza State University in the list of universities whose diplomas are recognized in the state. Guych Garayev cited data showing that the youth of Turkmenistan are aimed at getting an education in Russia.

The constructive dialogue touched upon the issues of studying the Russian language by students from abroad. Aleksandr Guliakov expressed his intentions to continue paying close attention to this issue, further intensifying the linguistic training programme for international students.

The programme of the visit continued with communication with students. At a meeting with PSU international students from Turkmenistan, Consul General Garayev Guych paid special attention to issues related to studies, rules of behavior in the region and compliance with the laws of the Russian Federation. A conversation was held aimed at preventing terrorist and extremist activities and preventing offenses in the field of drug trafficking.
