A festive New Year event was held for international students of the Pre-University Training Department of PSU
On December 28, a New Year’s event was organized for students of the Pre-University Training Department of the Institute of International Cooperation, PSU, in which they took an active part. Students from Turkmenistan, Morocco, Mali, Zambia, China, Korea, Lebanon, Algeria, Indonesia and other countries prepared creative performances dedicated to the Russian winter and the New Year. They performed songs and presented poems in Russian.
“We regularly conduct extracurricular activities that allow our students to better understand the culture of Russia, get used to the new circumstances surrounding them, and integrate into our everyday life. Such common events, in which students from different countries participate, are of great importance, because Russian becomes the mediating language in the intercultural dialogue of our students,” commented Gleb Sintsov, Vice-Rector for International Affairs at PSU.
