Gleb Sintsov, Vice-Rector for International Affairs, and Gennady Kozlov, Director of the Polytechnic Institute, paid an official visit to the Republic of Tajikistan from February 20 to 21. This visit took place at the invitation of Farkhod Kodirovich Rakhimov, Chairman of the Committee on Primary and Secondary Vocational Education under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan. The PSU delegation to the Committee on Primary and Secondary Vocational Education under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan was met by Chairman Farkhod Kodirovich Rakhimov. During the negotiations, Gleb Sintsov presented Penza State University. The parties discussed possible areas of cooperation: recruitment of Tajik applicants to PSU to study engineering and pedagogy, academic mobility of teachers and students, organization of scientific and cultural events. It was agreed to sign a cooperation agreement in the near future aimed at training highly qualified personnel - citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan. Further, as part of the visit, a series of career guidance meetings were held with students of the Vocational and Technical Lyceum. Gennady Kozlov presented the Polytechnic Institute and the areas of training being implemented. Gleb Sintsov presented the Institute of Teacher Education. Students asked questions about the admission procedure and conditions in the halls of residence, to which they received detailed answers. It should be noted that Fattoev Nematullo Samadovich, partner of PSU, made a huge contribution to organizing the visit and preparing specialized meetings with potential applicants. “The purpose of our visit is to expand our mutually beneficial cooperation with government and educational institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan,” Gleb Sintsov summed up the results of the trip.
