Penza State University will expand international cooperation with China in the field of education. An agreement on cooperation between PSU and Chinese partners was reached during a bilateral meeting between PSU Rector Aleksandr Guliakov and General Director of LLC RKS Huang Tao. On Monday, February 26, the parties signed a partnership agreement. Representatives of the Chinese side visited Penza State University, got acquainted with the university’s capabilities in the field of education and expressed interest in cooperation. During the meeting, negotiations were held on implementing a joint educational project with Dalian University (China) on training bachelor’s degree students of pedagogical education in the course “Additional education in the field of vocal and choral arts” and master’s degree students in the course “Choreography”. The first students in these two courses (there are planned to be about 60 people) will begin their studies in the 2025–2026 academic year. The programme will be structured in such a way that for two years, boys and girls who are now first-year students will take in a similar course at a Chinese university, and for the next two years they will study at PSU, where they will receive a bachelor’s or master’s degree. The company representatives also discussed the possibilities of cooperation with Chinese universities in other areas of training - psychology, social sciences, Russian as a foreign language, journalism, as well as engineering. PSU is planning to hold a summer school of intensive Russian language learning for Chinese students, which will take place in July this year. “We are open to cooperation. There is a demand from Chinese youth to study in Russia. Penza State University is ready to implement joint projects,” noted Aleksandr Guliakov. |
