PSU and the International University of Agadir “Universiapolis” (Morocco) express interest in strengthening scientific cooperation

On Wednesday, February 28, 2024, representatives of Penza State University and the International University of Agadir “Universiapolis” (Morocco) held an online meeting to exchange experience in the field of theoretical and applied mechanics and graphics.

From Penza State University the meeting was attended by Professor Aleksandr Muizemnek, Doctor of Engineering Sciences, Head of Department of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics and Graphic Design, Faculty of Industrial Technologies, Power Engineering and Transport, Polytechnic Institute, PSU; Tatiana Razuvaeva, Associate Professor, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Head of the International Projects Department, Institute of International Cooperation, PSU; Mariia Pchelintseva, translator of the International Projects Department, International Relations Office, Institute of International Cooperation, PSU.

The Polytechnic School of the International University of Agadir “Universiapolis” was represented by Dr. Lamiyae Ulanti, coordinator of international cooperation; Dr. Amin Bandarma, coordinator of scientific cooperation in the field of “Mechanical Engineering”; Dr. Salva El Garouje, coordinator of scientific cooperation in the field of “Materials Science”; and Dr. Kibbou El Mehdi, Bioengineering Laboratory manager.

The parties agreed to collaborate on developing joint scientific and practical projects; in particular, Moroccan researchers became interested in research into the influence of technological defects on the resistance of polymer layered composite materials to deformation and destruction.

“Partnership with foreign higher education institutions contributes to the promotion of Russian science on the world stage. The exchange of significant scientific achievements, joint analytical activities and constructive solutions are necessary not only for scientific progress, but also for improving the quality of higher education,” said Gleb Sintsov, Vice-Rector for International Affairs.

This online meeting continued a series of events organized thanks to the visit of the PSU delegation to the International University of Agadir “Universiapolis” in October 2023, which took place with the assistance of Adel Maqbol, PSU partner, Chairman of the International Students Association of the Penza Region.

Further online meetings are planned to discuss possible cooperation in other scientific areas, as well as to implement joint educational projects.
