Online seminar "Topical Issues of Modern Russian Studies" brings together scholars from Russia and Armenia

Scientific-methodical online seminar "Topical Issues of Modern Russian Studies" was held at the department of Russian Language and Methods of Teaching Russian Language, Faculty of History, Languages and Literature, on April 10. The seminar follows the cycle of thematic meetings within the framework of cooperation between the universities of Penza, Petrozavodsk and Yerevan.

Natalia Patroeva, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Russian Language, Petrozavodsk State University, gave a speech on the topic "Moscow-river, to Moscow-river... From the historical paradigm of the hydronym". Lyudmila Gurianova, senior teacher of the Department of Russian Language and Methods of Teaching Russian Language, Penza State University, presented a topic "Toponyms on the map of the Penza region".

Lilit Brutyan, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor of the Department of Russian Linguistics, Typology and Theory of Communication of Yerevan State University, and Inessa Rodionova, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Head of Department of Russian Language and Methods of Teaching Russian Language, noted the high level of the reports, relevance of topics, interesting presentation of the material and expressed hope for continued scientific cooperation in the new academic year.
