Representatives of Penza State University as part of the Penza Region delegation are working at the IX Russian-Chinese Youth Forum in the Volga-Yangtze format, which is taking place in Saratov. In total, about 300 young people from the Volga Federal District and the People's Republic of China are taking part in it.

The forum programme includes educational and practical tracks, excursions, and creative presentations of the regions. Students report that Chinese guests took a great interest in the "tea table", where the students dressed as heroes of the Abashevskaya toy - a lady and an officer - treated them to Penza sweets. The main Penza souvenir was also demonstrated.

Penza State University is represented by: Tatiana Razuvaeva, Head of International Projects Department; Olga Kulagina and Daniil Danilov, students of the Institute of Law; Yulia Legashneva, a student of the Faculty of Pedagogy, Psychology and Social Sciences; Aleksandr Dolbin, a student of the Institute of Economics and Administration.

Students from the Penza Region delegation also took part in the project session, where together with Chinese participants they developed and presented projects for the sustainable development of the Volga and Yangtze rivers. These materials will be included in the Forum resolution.
