PSU representatives take part in a strategic session on the development of pre-university training in universities

On August 28, 2024, on the eve of the new academic year, a strategic session "Development of the Pre-University Training for Foreign Citizens: Priorities and Prospects" was held at Ogarev Mordovia State University. Employees and teachers of pre-university training departments for international citizens, employees of the accommodation departments for foreign citizens were invited to participate in the session from different regions of Russia. Graduates of the pre-university training department of Ogarev Mordovia State University also took an active part in the work of the experts. PSU was represented by Natalia Barysheva, Head of the Pre-University Training Office of the Institute of International Cooperation, as well as teachers of the pre-university training department Olga Rodzina, Yulia Zatsepina, Anastasia Bochkareva.

“During the session, we discussed areas for optimizing the educational activities of the pre-university training department for foreign citizens, reviewed tools for promoting educational services, and defined approaches to the socio-cultural adaptation of students,” Natalya Barysheva comments on the busy working day.

"This year, the international activities of Penza State University celebrated their 35th anniversary. During this time, the university has gained significant experience in working with foreign citizens and built an optimal structure for managing this process. At the same time, we are always ready not only to share the accumulated knowledge, but also to adopt the positive experience of other universities. Therefore, the management always supports the initiative to participate in such events," said Gleb Sintsov, Vice-Rector for International Affairs.
