The visiting admissions committee of Penza State University conducted entrance examinations for applicants from the Republic of India. The responsible secretary of the admissions committee, Vitaly Solovyov, and Head of the International Education Office of the Institute of International Cooperation, Sergei Ivanchin, went to India. As part of the visit programme, entrance examinations were organized for Indian applicants in five cities: Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Indore, and Bangalore. "We conducted a series of entrance examinations in three subjects: biology, chemistry and English. It is necessary to note the level of motivation of Indian applicants and the high level of organization of the admission campaign by the Indian partner of PSU," Vitaly Solovyov shared his impressions. In the city of Vadodora, Margi Parikh, a 2019 graduate of PSU, the first president of the Indian Students Association at PSU, and a candidate for the title of Ambassador of Russian Education Abroad, spoke to applicants. Margi told them how she fondly remembers her years of study at the university, the rich educational programme, and social activities. She praised the applicants for the right choice to study at the leading university in the Penza region. During the visit, a meeting was held with Indian graduates of PSU in 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023. They said that most of them successfully passed the screening test, some entered residency, and then plan to either work in a private clinic or try to open their own hospitals. About 15 graduates are undergoing residency training abroad. In addition, a meeting was organized with members of the Association of Parents of Students Studying in Russia, headed by President Pradeepkumar Solanki. The parents conveyed words of gratitude to PSU Rector Aleksandr Guliakov, teachers and staff of the university. They thanked for the opportunity to admit their children to study at PSU. They noted the high level of organization of education and accommodation in residence halls for Indian students. Sergei Ivanchin, Head of the International Education Office of the Institute of International Cooperation, said that more than 600 Indian students are currently studying at PSU.
