PSU launches new educational programmes in English in Psychology and Power and Electrical Engineering

On November 1, Penza State University launched two new educational programmes using an intermediary language (English).

The programme 37.03.01 "Psychology" is implemented at the Department of General Psychology of V.G. Belinsky Teacher Education Institute. The programme 13.03.02 "Power and Electrical Engineering" - at the department of Power and Electrical Engineering of the Polytechnic Institute.

Students from Morocco, Sudan, Algeria, India, Yemen, Lebanon came to take new educational programmes in English.

"We annually increase the export of educational services in various fields of study, including in English," commented Gleb Sintsov, Vice-Rector for International Affairs.

Students have already managed to get acquainted with their teachers, and group curators held meetings during which students learned about the university rules and active student life.

"Our teachers will do their best to ensure that the knowledge and experience that future psychologists will receive at PSU will become a powerful incentive for their future professional activities. I wish the students of our English-language programme successful and interesting studies!"noted Vsevolod Konstantinov, Head of the Department of General Psychology.

The demand for English-language programmes is growing every year, and Penza State University is systematically developing this area of international activity.

"Currently, PSU is implementing eight educational programmes using English as an intermediary language, with about 1,500 international students, and three more programmes are ready for implementation," informed Sergei Ivanchin, Head of the International Education Office of the Institute of International Cooperation.
