As part of the interactive and educational meeting "Lessons of Friendship”, international students of the Institute of International Cooperation of Penza State University from the Kyrgyz Republic introduced students of Secondary School No. 1 to the culture and traditions of their native country.

The students told the schoolchildren about the peculiarities of the Kyrgyz people, their traditions and customs. The children studied handmade souvenirs with particular interest, listened to stories about family holidays, and also learned a lot about life in Kyrgyzstan. The students also demonstrated various national household items and clothing, which aroused genuine interest in the children.

The international students treated schoolchildren to delicious dried fruits and nuts brought from Kyrgyzstan, as well as to real national sweets prepared with their own hands. In addition, they shared their impressions of life in our city. They told about the cultural events and national holidays that take place in Penza and invited everyone to take part in these events.

"This meeting definitely left the most vivid impressions and gave our schoolchildren the opportunity to learn more about the other country and its people. Such events play an important role in strengthening international friendship and mutual understanding between peoples. We hope that such meetings will become a good tradition of our school!", noted the school educational adviser Daria Goryacheva.
