PSU international students take part in the All-Russian forum “Patriotic education: problems, searches, prospects”
International students of Penza State University from India, China, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan took part in the All-Russian scientific and pedagogical forum "Patriotic education: problems, searches, prospects", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory.
The organizer of this forum was the Penza branch of the Military Academy of Logistical Support "General of the Army A.V. Khrulyov". The forum included four thematic platforms: Patriotic education of youth: history, current issues and movements; Preservation of traditional Russian spiritual and moral values: experience and development prospects; Dialogue of cultures: main directions and possibilities of international cooperation in the field of civic-patriotic education; Know in order to remember: to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory.
Abdumajidova Parizoda (Uzbekistan), Shah Mahek (India), Wang Feifei (China), Seyitkulyeva Suray (Turkmenistan) presented reports on “My Homeland: Traditions and Values”.
Mamatkulov Zhavohir (Kyrgyzstan), in turn, shared the story of his family in the report "We Remember. We Are Proud. We Love":
"My maternal great-grandfather, Sharipov Adash, was a participant in the Great Patriotic War, was injured and had many awards, including the medal "For Courage", "For the Defense of Stalingrad", "For Victory over Germany", "For Military Merit", "For the Capture of Koenigsberg" as well as the Order of the Patriotic War, 2nd degree. After the war, he devoted himself to the restoration of his native land and worked in the electric power industry. The memory of the heroes is alive as long as we preserve it!"
Maksim Adamov, Assistant Vice-Rector for International Affairs, and Ekaterina Syagaylo, Head of the Student Affairs Department, International Education Office, Institute of International Cooperation, also took part in the forum.
