PSU international students from India held Utsav 2025 Festival of Festivals

"Utsav" in Sanskrit means "special occasion", "festival", "celebration". A festive concert dedicated to this bright event was held on the main stage of the Youth House.

In order to familiarize international students with the culture and traditions of different nations, national holidays are held as part of cultural adaptation events, namely the Cultural Marathon "Around the World in 2 Semesters", and days of culture of different countries are organized. This year, within the framework of the festival, it was possible to combine and celebrate several traditional national Indian holidays at once: Navratri, Diwali, Gudi Padwa. More than 10 performances of various genres were shown on stage: vocals, national dances, instrumental music and many others.

The honorary guests of the celebration were Gleb Sintsov, Vice-Rector for International Affairs of PSU, Sergey Ivanchin, Head of the International Education Office. The employees of the Institute of International Cooperation and teachers of international students from India from various departments also attended the events.

The general partner of PSU, the Chevalier Group, represented by Dr. Pradeepsinh Solanki, expressed words of gratitude to the management of the university and the Institute of International Cooperation:

“We are grateful to the rector Aleksandr Guliakov and the Institute of International Cooperation represented by director Gleb Sintsov for their assistance in organizing and holding national holidays for students from India and comprehensive support for our youth.”

At the end of the festival, the organizers awarded the festival participants with certificates and gifts.
