First again: Institute of International Cooperation on the top step of the pedestal at the PSU Student Spring

One of the most creative and vibrant periods has come to an end at Penza State University – the Student Spring 2025 competition is over.

A total of 12 faculties and institutes presented their performances to the jury. International students took the stage on April 9 with the production "AIIC". What could happen if a biologist, a tarot reader, a programmer and a neural network specialist gathered in one place? A story with such an idea was presented on stage by the Institute of International Cooperation. There are no new inventions, no discoveries - the Oskolkovo Research Institute is under threat, and along with it, the main bright mind of the team - Professor Adel Petrovich. But then he has a dream team and the charming AIIC - the artificial intelligence of the international community.

The best actor was recognized as Zhusupov Bekzat (Kyrgyzstan), and the best actress - Diyora Abdumazhidova (Uzbekistan). The creative performances of international students were highly appreciated. The maximum score was given to 5 performances at once, as well as the scenography.

The jury's overall score for the performance was 98.4 points (out of a possible 100), which allowed the Institute of International Cooperation to become the winner of the amateur art competition "Student Spring" for the second year in a row!

The Institute also won in the following nominations:

• Best Folk Dance (small ensembles) "Traditional Indian Dance";

• Best Folk Dance (large ensembles) "Religious Indian Dance";

• Best Scenography (directed by Evgeny Usov);

• Best Pop Vocals (Solo) - Kshirsagar Shlok, "Beggin" (supervised by Maria Melnikova)

• Best pop vocals (solo) – Saakanush Muradyan, “Royalty” (supervised by Maria Melnikova)

• Best pop vocals (small ensembles) – duet Saakanush Muradyan and Maria Melnikova, “My Girl”

• Best pop vocals (small ensembles) – vocal group Harmonix, “Backstreet’s back” (supervised by Maria Melnikova)

Three vocal numbers were recommended for participation in the Regional Festival of Student Creativity "Student Spring - 2025", which will take place on April 22, in the Officers' House. The honor of the Institute of International Cooperation will be defended by the vocal ensemble Harmonix, as well as soloists - Saakanush Muradyan and Kshirsagar Shlok.
