This academic year has been a very eventful one for the international students of PSU, and a lot of victories have been added to the achievements of the Institute of International Cooperation. More than 60 large-scale events were held, and international students actively participated in them.

Gleb Sintsov, Vice-Rector for International Affairs of PSU, addressed all the participants of the awarding ceremony:

‘It is very pleasant to see so many students who took part in absolutely diverse events - sports, creative, scientific. It is great that the conditions we create for you, contribute not only to the successful learning process, but also help to develop comprehensively. The number of events held speaks for itself!’

At the end of the academic year, students were awarded with commendations for their invaluable contribution to strengthening relations and active cultural exchange between students based on the principles of tolerance, goodwill and solidarity, as well as for their active participation in the preparation of the Navruz interethnic holiday.

It should be noted that every year, commendations are awarded to students who throughout the academic year not only took an active part in the events, but also helped in their organisation, provided active support to other students from different countries and proved themselves in various spheres.

In addition, medals and diplomas were awarded to the winners and prize-winners of the sporting and recreational event ‘Goodwill Games’. The sports festival included a series of sports competitions: football, basketball, volleyball, darts, gymnastics, table tennis, weightlifting, wrestling, badminton and cricket.
